Welcome to the Misseducated Community! Please introduce yourself here so we can say hello :)
Shall we introduce ourselves? I’d love to get to know you! 🥳
I’m Tash, a writer, author, and the creator of this newsletter. I love house museums, papaya, colorful pompom strings, reading memoirs, speaking Spanish, and going for long naturey runs on Sundays. I’m from London and I live in Mexico City. I’m currently unlearning internalized homophobia; at 28, I recently started dating women (!)
I’d LOVE to learn more about you and also: what brought you to Misseducated?
Where are you in the world? Where are you in life? What are you unlearning? What keeps you up at night? Are you working on a cool creative project we can check out? Do you run a beautiful shop we can visit? (I’m looking at you, Wanda 😉.)
As always, thank you SO much for supporting this newsletter. I can’t wait to meet more of you and for you to meet each other 🤗.
Lots of love,
Tash

Oh honey, this juicy invitation pleases me no end. I can hear your voice as you offer it up to us readers. As you know, your "master class" in Unmute, a few Unmutes ago, brought me here initially, and I've stuck around thanks to all the sexy, taboo stuff. And the normal stuff, too -- your struggles, your musings. It's all so relatable and I drink it up.
How thrilling that you're exploring sexual and romantic intimacy with women now! I too mixed things up in my late 20s; after exclusively dating women in Phoenix, Northampton and Seattle, I started dating MEN when I moved to Ecuador at 29. Dating may be too generous a word. I didn't want to join a soccer team to get laid. And I wanted to get laid. And damn, was it easy. And fun!
My life has shifted radically over the last 20 years, and sex is far less a part of my personal equation, much to everyone-in-my-world's surprise. But I do enjoy peering through your eyes as you explore and articulate the curious nature of it all; you do it so brilliantly.
Grateful for you. xoxo-AvH
Oooh I am learning and unlearning so much! I am Itzel, now a full time photographer as I recently quit my corporate job, I feel free and excited, and at the same time leaving the life I lived for over 9 years feels a bit terrifying.
Your creative journey has inspired me a lot to keep taking action towards the point I wanna be in life and your sex and dating stories are my favorites! I love the honesty and how open the topics are, makes me question myself around my own ideas and experiences.
Keep it up Tash!
