I have some exciting news to share!
Since starting on my mission to help the world be shamelessly sexy, I’ve seen how writing about my sex life online has transformed my shame around sex into self-discovery. Then, I discovered evidence from researchers at UT Austin that expressive writing is good for your mental and physical health. After I explored this in my popular article, “How To Keep A Sex Journal,” some of my friends wanted their own dedicated sex journal; this sparked an idea in me: why not create one?
I’ve spent the last month working behind the scenes to design a sex journal to guide your sensual exploration. Now, I need your help! Let’s bring it to life before I go on holiday!

I’m looking for beta users and readers who can commit to 5 hours total for product testing (surveys, testing samples, and layout design feedback) across July and September. I will send out details soon on the developments for our limited first edition!

🏆 Big Wins: Finding Manufacturers
We have two potential journal manufacturers, both based in Mexico City.
Option #1: Perpetua, a women-owned journal company, who have partnered with Glossier. I love their alignment with Misseducated’s mission.
Option #2: Luis Felipe, a super nice guy whose family has been producing journals and books for generations. I love their variety of options for the end product, including paper linings, etc.
🏇The Chase: Robert Huber’s LL Medium font family costs CHF 700 (Swiss francs), which is $880 (USD). I’m hoping to negotiate a deferred payment deal!
🤓 The Expert: Sex-tech industry veteran Lex Gillon (a.k.a. “The Pleasure Researcher”) has led my market research so far. Here are more details on what she found:
